In order to achieve a barrier-free cross-border labour market
and a euregional welcome culture, specific partners who are already active and experienced in this field have been carefully selected to collaborate. The focus is therefore on cooperation between the partners and will result in the development of a euroregional standard and subsequent offering.
Nearly all euregional employment services are involved
in the project as (associated) partners: the Dutch UWV, Belgian VDAB and Arbeitsamt der Deutschsprachigen Gemeinschaft, as well as the German Bundesagentur für Arbeit. The cross-border information points (GIPs) and service points for cross-border job placement (SGAs) are represented by the Region Aachen-Zweckverband, Podium24 and WerkgeverServicePunt Westelijke Mijnstreek.
Our collaborations with RWTH Aachen University, Maastricht University and the University of Hasselt as well as Forschungszentrum Jülich and Corda Campus in Hasselt emphasises the EMR as a leading region of scientific excellence.
Connected with other advisory institutions, such as expat and newcomer centres, a network of partners from the entire EMR is in place to support residents and newcomers in their cross-border activities.
